"Jack Lalanne’s Power Juicer...

Juicing for health is a trend that started a few years ago and contrary to most trends, it has continued to feature highly on many people’s agenda. Juicing with a power juicer is an excellent way to gain as much nutrient as possible from fruits, vegetables and etc.

It is exceptionally good for people who will not eat vegetables or fruit on their own. Putting them into a power juicer means a delicious drink is formed at the end of the process and this is more appealing to some people than actually eating the healthy fruit and vegetables.

Not only can you juice vegetables and fruits, you can also get a wheat grass power juicer. This allows you to extract the nutrients from the wheat grass quickly and easily. Some people like to drink this as it is, or add a little apple juice or other kind of juice to it.

You can mix fruits with it and ice to make a tasty cool drink. Ok, it might look a little odd but it’s all about nutrient, not appearance. Others prefer to obtain the powder form and add it to smoothies or other kinds of juice.

What is the Best Juicer Available?

There are many different types of power juicers available, yet, Jack Lalanne’s power juicer only comes in one model. One great thing about Jack Lalanne’s range of power juicer is the reasonable price in comparison to other makes and models available. For the number of features you get, it is surprising they are so reasonably priced.

What to Do With Fruit and Vegetable Pulp After Juicing

Whether you decide to use a power juicer for fruits, vegetables or wheat grass, you will be left with some pulp from the actual food itself.

This may put some people off the prospect of juicing as they don’t know what to do with it, but wait – there is a solution! Don’t just throw the pulp away as it contains an excellent source of fiber; rather use it to create lots of interesting dishes, both savory and sweet.

You can also use it for soups, casseroles or stews or as a thickener. Desserts can be quickly created or you can add the pulp to cakes, muffins or crumbles.

Of course if you use vegetables, you wouldn’t want the pulp of this to be added to cake, unless it is carrot cake, so be sure to separate the pulp out if your intention is to add it to a sweet receipt.

It doesn’t matter quite so much with stews or casseroles as fruit often goes well with meat.

As Jack Lalanne’s range of power juicers deliver approximately 30% more juice than a lot of other juicers, you may find the pulp is a bit too dry to re-use in cooking or baking, therefore, if you don’t want to re-use the pulp or can’t, then you can add it to the garden to enrich the soil and the plants will love it.

It will easily decompose down and release the leftover nutrients to fertilize the garden; an excellent compost at no extra cost!
